At Goodies for U our goal is to assist people who want their own web sites but don't have much or anything to spend doing so. We offer a variety of tools to assist getting your web site up and going.
There are also some ways to get traffic to your site after it is up. Traffic is the most important thing a webmaster should be concerned with (other than making a good site). We don't like the idea of paying to get hits. These are the same methods we use. It works for us!
You might even want to register for some (or all) of the get paid sites we have listed. And don't forget to list your links to the programs you join on your site. You will make most of your money from the number of referrals you get, not from your actually reading e-mail or the like. Although I still click my share of those too. It's all money and it all spends. Fair warning though. Unless your site gets mega hits right away it takes awhile to get money flowing.
A few of the sites linked on these pages have free and pay versions. We only registered for the free versions. Although we have several free web hosting services listed we recommend using them with care. We have seen several of these Free services decide to start charging or you lose your site. Lost 2 sites that way. The hosting that we decided on (after a couple of years dealing with some really poor companies) was No Monthly Fees and they serve our purposes just fine. There is a $70 up front cost which includes your domain name and the first years hosting. Only $70 a year after that for hosting and domain name registration that will even accomidate a huge site (600meg & 25gig of traffic). We have no complaints after five years. They do what they advertise.
The other materials found on this site are mostly created by others who like us have allowed their work to be used free. There are some who do not desire that their work be used commercially without notice or whatever. Check the code inside the animation if this applies to you.
